A Lizard of Unusual Size

I've come to the conclusion that the guys that actually wanna listen to what I have to say are not the guys that are my age. :/ All my best guy friends are at least a few years older than me. Which is fine, but I'm annoyed because when I get back to school I'll have to go back to dealing with boys that have NO attention span, that don't even care about what I'm saying. Ugh. No wonder I haven't got a boyfriend.

Well, Junior year starts tomorrow, and I can't say I'm all that excited anymore. After going to open house, I didn't see anyone new that I was interested in, and that's depressing. Just the same old faces from last years honors classes, some annoying and some friends. It's great that I have friends in every class, but I'd wanted to make some more, you know? At least I'll probably be able to do that in computer programming once I switch into that. That's the only thing I'm excited aboot. :)

And in other news, I bought a plant for my desk. And I've been trying to plan a compost heap in my backyard.

Well, I've been doing well for myself this summer, I think! I love my job very much, and it's pretty much the only reason I leave the house (lucky for me, I've been getting more hours :D). Still playing Left 4 Dead insanely much, but today I got ~THE 'WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PROVE?' ACHIEVEMENT~ for beating all campaigns on expert. I feel so immensely badass, and it was only 35G. Whatever. Four more achievements to go, then I will be done with that game forever. Matthew's gonna be so pissed that I did it without him, it will be glorious.

But anyway, back to stuff. Today I got 'borrowed' to a store in Scottsdale, which was a good 20 minutes from my house, but that was ok I guess. Scottsdale is a really snooty town, and the mall this EB Games was in was EFFING HUGE and I got lost, but I had a fantastic time. It was supposed to be me and a kid named Chris on shift, but Frank stayed after his shift because we were having so much fun. I think we had 3 customers, and I probably did a half hour's worth of work. In five hours. It was soooo much different than my normal store - we're workaholics there.

It was so laid back though! And my god, my stomach hurt from laughing once I got home. We chatted about video games and Family Guy mostly, but man those guys were funny. We're planning to have a party where we just play MGS4 all night, which I am IMMENSELY excited about, since I've been dying to play that game forever. My mom is hesitant to let me chill with some random dudes, but they seem really harmless. In fact, I felt a little ostracized for my age. Chris is 19 and Frank is 21, so they were like "oh shit you're a little kid!" and were acting like they couldn't hang out with me because I was 16. idc, yo.

What else is going on? Not much. I bought CoD4:MW a few days ago, but I think I'll play it after I'm finished being obsessed with L4D achievements. I also need to read my summer reading books but Jane Eyre is all bleh and I am preoccupied with gaming.

Hey! I have interesting things going on now!

I just took my AP world history exam. It was much easier than the practice exam my teacher gave us, so that was a relief. I dunno, I actually think I did alright, but I don't wanna jinx myself by being confident. Maybe I got a three, that would be awesome! After that, I'm so ready for school to be over. But we still have five days left. D: I'm going crazy.

Other thing: it's summer in Arizona and our community pool is under construction! WTF! I need to swim raradsgewhg.

Another thing: I'm hoping to get XBOX live soon, if I keep pestering father to get wireless interwebs. Anyone wanna give me their XBOX name so we can do stuff this summer? All I have for multiplayer so far is RE5 but that will change eventually. :D

Last thing: I love Metal Gear Solid 3. Why didn't I play it earlier? I like it even better than the first two. And I cried. ♥

Oh one more: quit at dairy queen, applied in other places. We'll see how that goes. :O

I have a question for my flist: Have you ever had a crush on someone you don't know, not because of their looks necessarily?

For instance, the 1st violin in my orchestra named Sam isn't very cute at all, but I just dream of going out with him all the time, because his passion in music is so amazing. Just seeing him makes my heart speed up, lame, right? (IRL friends don't tell him or I'll kill you fo srs. he probably doesn't know my name though LOL)

Also wtf, EVERYTHING'S happening this Saturday. Brittney's party, Kristen's party, mom's party, Jerika's party, and the car wash. The one time I somehow get invited to shit and I can only pick one party!? I hate everything

It rained today! It was really windy, you know, the kind of windy where you feel like you're going to be swept off your feet and it's awesome. My grandpa got a picture of me running in from the rain 'cause he's silly. ( lulz pic )

We had our chair tests today, and it was the first time I've really gotten nervous over a chair test. I think it's because the basses in symphony are better than me, you know? I expect them to be because they're all older than me, but there's that easily-excitable part of my brain hoping dearly that I get better than last chair. Ohh that would be so amazing. :V

Which brings me to Austin. He plays bass too, and he's a senior. At first I had a bit of a crush on him, and now he keeps insisting that we hang out and he gives me these lingering hugs, it's like wow. I mean, he's majorly sweet, like I was at my friend's house playing guitar hero on her XBOX Live, and I call him all "sup dude, guitar hero tiem?" and he drives home from his friend's house just to play it with me ._. Like, idk. It makes me really nervous and uncomfortable more than anything. I guess I'll see how things turn out.

I'm gonna try to design a shirt for Japanese club 8D Wouldn't it be sweet if I drew'd something on a SHIRT? If only I was creative, lolz.

Also, in social studies we were playing jepordy. How we play is you hit your flyswatter against the spot on the board to answer the question. It was me vs. Lexi, and I got my flyswatter on a split second before her's.

Then Mr. Johnson came and stood between us and he said "Say the answer, I'll protect you!" (srsly what he said. XDD;) Then I thought Lexi whapped him on the ass with her flyswatter because he made this HILARIOUS face like O___O. I had to cover my mouth and sit down I was laughing so hard... but it turns out she just pretended to. The whole class was in tears. XDD So fun~


And while I was walking to orchestra with Susanna she was trying to do sit-ups while walking to lose weight. I tell you, that is entertainment. Then she was like "How do you keep your figure? D:" and I said "Uh... good metabolism." and she answered, "Then you don't watch a lot of television, right?" "..."

My mom got me two psychology books for my good grades (YES I'M A NERD OKAY)! ♥ I'm reading Mad in America: Bad Medicine, Bad Procedures and the Enduring Mistreatment of the Mentally Ill OR SOMETHING. I can't really remember the name DX But it's quite good. I finally feel like I'm finally beginning to learn about the human brain and it feels glorious. I've been wanting this information for so long~

nothing that I took really turned out how I wanted it to, though. D: But, I got some more retarded videos of my friends and me to put on YouTube! *cough*

Sooo... I turned in my registration for high school today! I'm taking Orchestra, Japanese 1, and Beginning Dance [for PE credit]. Also, I'm taking Strolling Strings 0 hour because I want to really start playing bass better :] And they play cooler songs then the normal Orchestra! But yeah, those and all the other classes you have to take... I'm in Math Topics 3 and 4, Biology and Honors English. I think. Not that anyone cares! XD

I hope I have a good time next year. :3
