You ever get that feeling that no matter how much water you drink, you can never get rid of the thirst? And then when you breathe in, your throat feels like a huge burst of air is passing over it and it feels super-uncomfortable...not painful, but just unpleasant.

It's usually a sign of someone getting strep throat, isn't it?

Hello, everybody!
I would like to make a tabletop role-playing game based on Silent Hill setting for my friends. Does anybody have the experience in this? I don't know what system suits better for this. It would be easy to use D20 or World Of Darkness mechanics, but may be there is a way that is better?
I'm sorry if such topic has already been discussed.

Looks like March 2010 is going to be the month for survival horrors. We already have Alan Wake slated for that time, however I was just made aware of another title that looks like it could be a treat for Silent Hill fans.

Music halp!

I have a ringback tone for my phone that is The Map from Silent Hill, but I can't FOR THE LIFE OF ME find an MP3 of it, or find it! Am I just looney?  Keep in mind I have probably 10 Silent Hill albums on my ipod (1, two of 2, 3 of 3, 2 versions of 4, Origins, Homecoming, along with the unreleased ambiance/noise of each soundtrack).  See?  Preview.  Is the title "The Map" or is it a different song?  Because I can't find it. 8|  Like, listen to "Clue from Alessa"... That's "Promise".  "Letter from Lost Days" is actually "Waiting for you (Live at Heaven's Night)".   "Waiting for You" is "Letter from Lost Days".  "Tears Of" is actually correct.  As I mentioned, I have hundreds of Silent Hill songs and it's killing me to go through each one to find "The Map".

Secondly!  I preordered my copy of Shattered Memories yesterday-  my first ever preorder!  Now, I know it includes a CD with 18 tracks 'throughout the series' so I assume it's NOT the OST for Shattered Memories.  Any ideas on an OST release?

I bought Mass Effect the other day and started playing today.

... Does that game give anyone else a headache at first, or is it just me? I'm trying to get used to it but it's one of those I-can-only-take-so-much-of-it-at-once kinda things.

Also, CONFIRMED. Nolan North IS playing Salem in Army of Two: The 40th Day. Sigh. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Nolan North. But he's not all that fitting for the guy. Then again, he seems kinda different in general... but I shouldn't just by the one TEENY little thing I saw. That and it could just be his voice too.

STILL WEIRD.

Does anyone else ever look back at their older lj entries and go '....D:' ? I'm glad I grew up.

I haven't grown that much, as I couldn't remove Hetalia and SC goggles during my criminology lecture today. Canada is a major stopping-off point for heroin going into the USA, and apparently Chinese triads are the ones who move it into the states and all i thought was 'is that why chateux de chinada exists?'

I don't think I mentioned it before, but was reminded today - I am so STOKED for ( this )

I'm so glad they're showing Spaced on Dave :D right now it's the paintball episode \o/ "It's not a flat, it's a bedsit!" also The Thick Of It is unrepentantly amazing. I can't believe I've never seen it until this series, it's so my bag.

Don't go home right after school! Stay in, and do all the homework there! God knows I have to, with how easily I get distracted. Too many bookmarks filled with fun games and shows, aaaaaaah. I've just done aaaaallll my homework for tomorrow, and at least half the art work for this week--and it's only Monday! It's only 5 pm now, so I've got now through till midnight to do whatever I want. <3

Maybe if I keep this up it means I can pick up the pace with RPing! 8D

Also, why is it if I'm doing or thinking about anything ship-related, mostly Nate/Elena, I'm listening to, like, hip-hop or pop-ish? I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST THE GENRES I'M JUST NOTICING.

Mostly these two songs.

I'm partly embarassed cuz the songs are so not fitting for them, but at the same time awesome dancing is happening in my head.
